This project is the natural progression of my first submission, 'Searchlight Promotions'. After completing and submitting my first project I was asked to maintain it going forward as the client absolutely loved it. This ultimately meant that I had retained my first customer, and for the conclusion of this course, it is timely that the website is upgraded as the business has developed, my skills have progressed and as a true work-experience piece of practical evidence.

Praise the Loud was designed as a one-of-a-kind gig review website that allows fans to add their own personal gig reviews, to celebrate all that the home grown artists and venues do for emerging rock and metal music. By creating a profile users have access to the gig review form to create their own reviews for gigs that they have attended. The idea behind this website is to promote all that is loud!

The Battle of Emerging Rock Bands 2025 (UK) website was been designed to allow fans the opportunity of discovering new bands and music, in a fun and interactive way. By using a voting system, fans are encouraged to watch 4 randomly selected bands and vote for the one that they liked the most. The idea is to expose the music fans to new music and invite them to go and explore the artists they have just seen and heard. By actively engaging in the process the aim is to encourage fans to discover new music.

Searchlight Promotions is a live music promotions company that specifically caters to the rock and metal community, in Norwich. The website serves to increase the company’s visibility on the internet and functions as an additional marketing tool to reach fans and emerging musicians interested in attending or playing at gigs in Norwich.
